Apple's new operating systems
Annual major updates of Apple's operating systems are expected later this fall, but I already tested StitchBuddy with some early releases.
Every year Apple releases new major updates of macOS and iOS / iPadOS, this year jumping to version 26. Early beta testing has started for developers - the public beta is expected these days, and I took a first glance at StitchBuddy with macOS 26 "Tahoe" and iPadOS 26:
I was satisfied by StitchBuddy's current distributions already working with these beta versions, although a comprehensive testing will be performed once Apple's software is more mature.
Currently I found a glitch with Automator, as options of 3rd party actions cannot be configured when defining a workflow. This issue is not specific to StitchBuddy, and I filed a bug report at Apple - hopefully addressed by some future beta version before Tahoe is released. Looking forward to some more testing with public beta versions…
